Petersen joins instructor stable at CardRunners.com – Online Casino News
Instructional online poker website CardRunners.com has announced the addition of two-time Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) event winner Mickey ‘memeny_mori’ Petersen to its stable of instructors.
Petersen is currently ranked as the year’s best online poker player by Bluff Magazine while PocketFives has the Danish professional at number five. He won his first gold jersey in the spring in a $216 buy-in six-maximum event and took home $86,700 for his troubles. His second title came just last Saturday evening in a $216 buy-in rush-limit hold’em event where he walked away richer to the tune of $37,344.
In addition to his FTOPS wins, Petersen has appeared at the final table of two Spring Championship Of Online Poker events to walk away with a combined prize of $241,500 while also finishing fourth in a side event at the recent San Remo stop of the European Poker Tour for $97,000.
Petersen will work as a multi-table tournament instructor at CardRunners.com and is also due to take questions from members while his first video is already on the site.
“I’m going to try my best to give some insight into both some of the basic stuff and some more advanced concepts,” said Petersen.
“The most important thing to me is to try and explain why I think a certain line or range is correct so people can properly understand my reasoning behind it and then incorporate it into their own game.”
