Poker News: Gus Hansen, Brian Hastings Win Big
One of poker’s biggest losers of 2009 is thus far among 2010’s biggest gainers. Dane Gus Hansen won another $384K the other day.
"Almost all of it came in the PLO part of the seven game and Brian Townsend was the main donator, dropping about $230K," reports High Stakes DB.
"After losing more than $5.5 million in 2009, Gus Hansen ended January with over $1.7 million in profits, primarily from the 7-Game tables," PokerNews.com reports.
Meanwhile, Brian Hastings had an amazing day on Tuesday.
From High Stakes DB:
"The big winner of the day was Brian Hastings who cashed in almost $428K. The interesting part of his day was that he beat a number of players, among others Ziigmund and Gus Hansen, out of significant money, but more or less single handedly made sure that Cole South ended up in second place on the leader board."
